Olena Obukhova has been an International Trainer for Lovely Academy since 2017, serving as the official Brand Ambassador for Lovely in Estonia. She is also an active Lash Expert.
Her portfolio includes over 30 international awards, including the prestigious title "The Best Lash Expert of Estonia." Olena is a regular speaker at European beauty congresses and has judged over 20 international eyelash extension championships.
To date, she has trained over 700 lash technicians. Her graduates come not only from Estonia but also from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, and the UK. Beyond the official Lovely Academy curriculum, Olena conducts proprietary coaching programs for championship preparation.
In 2018, she founded GLADLY, her own brand of professional tweezers. The brand has earned the trust of specialists worldwide for its exceptional quality and ergonomics and continues to grow successfully today.

Get to know Olena Obukhova
How long have you been teaching? How many students have you trained?
I have been teaching eyelash extensions for over 8 years, starting from the moment I received my International Lash Educator certification from Lovely Academy. During this time, over 700 students from various European countries have completed my courses. Today, many of them are successfully working as lash stylists in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, and other countries.
Do you conduct all classes personally, or do you have assistants?
I conduct all classes personally—from the first day to the last. This is fundamentally important to me to guarantee the quality of education. In small groups of up to 3 people, every student receives individual attention and personal technique correction. Assistants are not involved in the training process.
What is your approach to students who learn at a slower pace?
In lash training, quality is far more important than speed. I always adapt to the student's individual pace. If extra time is needed for practice, we will certainly find it. The main goal is for every graduate to confidently master all techniques and be able to work safely with clients.
How does your methodology differ from other schools?
Our methodology is developed by leading lash experts, based on years of practical experience and the international standards of Lovely Academy. I share my own professional insights and "pro tips" that help students develop faster. No theory for the sake of theory—only up-to-date knowledge and techniques that meet modern industry standards.
Can I get your support after completing the course?
Absolutely! Supporting graduates is a crucial part of my work as an educator. After the course, you are always welcome to reach out with questions regarding technique, materials, or to analyze complex cases.
